Fujifilm FinePix S100FS receives Award : Fujifilm is delighted to announce that the TIPA award-winning Fujifilm FinePix S100FS bridge camera has been bestowed the ‘European Superzoom Camera of the Year 2008-2009’ Award by judges at the esteemed European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA), the largest editorial multimedia organization in Europe. EISA judges were particularly impressed with the amount of technology offered at such a competitive price point. Commenting about the award, the EISA jury said: “The Fujifilm S100FS is a true alternative to a DSLR camera fitted with a super zoom lens. The Fujifilm S2000HD is a compact and lightweight camera with a 15x optical zoom lens and HD movie recording and output. Fujifilm FinePix S2000hd : Well someone at Fujifilm Canada triggered that button too soon, but since the whole world is reporting about a series of possible upcoming products of Fujifilm and at Fujifilm no one seems to bother to give some proper information we go ahead with the rest. One of the leaked FinePix cameras is the Fujifilm FinePix S2000hd. At first glance and looking at the specifications the Fujifilm S2000hd is a Megazoom camera with a 14.7x optical zoom range (28-414 mm equiv. 35 mm camera), improved Face Detection system and, of course, HD (High Definition) mode to capture MPEG-4 16:9 movies in 1920x1080 resolution. More information about availability and pricing will follow as soon as possible.
