Sanyo DMX-HD800 : Sanyo announces the DMX-HD800, a new sleek, slim high definition dual camera Xacti that can take both stills and videos. The Sanyo Xacti HD800 camera sports a compact and light-weight body, and easily saves data onto SD/SDHC memory cards for convenience. The Sanyo DMX-HD800 will take stills and videos used on a personal computer or for the Web, houses a new three-dimensional digital noise reduction (3DDNR) filter, and adds the ‘Face Chaser’ for both stills and videos with an active scanner visible on the monitor. This new, stylish digital movie camera, the Sanyo Xacti DMX-HD800, will be sold in Japan starting from August 22, 2008. If or when the new Sanyo HD800 dual camera will be sold outside of Japan is unknown.

Sanyo Xacti DMX-CA8 : Sanyo announces its next Xacti digital movie camera designed for people with active lifestyles - the Sanyo DMX-CA8. The camera is not only waterproof, fully compatible with most active lifestyles, but also added are higher resolution photographs up to 8 megapixels and a new ‘Face Chaser’ function for movies in addition to the existing ‘Face Chaser’ function for photos. The Sanyo Xacti DMX-CA8 will be on sale in Japan from mid-May 2008. In his presentation at the launch, Hideki Toyoda, General Manager of the Sanyo’s DI Company Products Planning Department, said, “Last year, Sanyo brought a digital movie camera to the market that was waterproof and changed the way that people use digital movie cameras.

Sanyo Xacti DMX-CG9 : Sanyo introduces the latest Xacti digital movie camera - the Sanyo Xacti CG9. The new Sanyo DMX-CG9 camera offers simple operation and comfortable use for beginners, 9.1-Megapixel digital still images, high resolution photos, and longer recording time. The Sanyo Xacti DMX-CG9 will be on sale in Japan from April 28, 2008. On the launch of the new camera, Hideki Toyoda, General Manager of the Sanyo’s DI Company Products Planning Department, said, “Sanyo is pleased to introduce the Sanyo Xacti DMX-CG9, a digital movie camera offering beautiful still images and movies compatible with computers and the Internet, easy enough for anyone to start using, and a fashionable item all for a reasonable price.”
